Arsenal is willing to listen to offers for a range of players after a disastrous start to the new season. One of the players is Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, for whom Arsenal is willing to listen to offers.
The North London club had one of the worst starts with two consecutive defeats at the hands of two London based teams. It is certainly where Arsenal do not want to be. But their current lot of players are no less than disaster class let alone world class.
Despite knowing the quality of the current first team players, Mikel Arteta has gone with the same lot. Nothing has changed so far with the Gunners bringing only a minimal change this summer.
However, at the near end of the transfer window, Arsenal is willing to listen to offers. Some reports suggest many first team players could move out in the coming days.
Arsenal ready to negotiate for the sale of Aubameyang
The old lady is looking at Aubameyang with the lens of a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese International is growingly unhappy at Juventus. He does not see any ambition in the club for European glory.
As a result of that, he has already told Juventus about his plans to move on from the Italy chapter. He has also said goodbye to his Juventus mates. CR7 is pushing for a move to Manchester City and even the Sky Blues are wanting him.
There is a huge possibility that Ronaldo could move away in the coming days. And Juventus does not want to be without a proper quality striker. The Italian giants are targeting three players for the single position. Aubameyang, Mauro Icardi and Moise Kean are on the radar.
However, if the Italian giants cannot land Mauro Icardi, then they will move for Aubameyang. The Gabonese International is a player that has proved his quality a lot of times. It is only that the player had a disaster class last season. He went through a lot of personal and physical trauma and that could have been a reason for the performances.
However, the 31-year-old scored a brilliant hat trick recently against West Brom in the Carabao Cup. The Gunners beat the hosts by a massive scoreline of six goals to nil. The performance certainly impressed Juventus, who are willing to move for him. If all the parties agree, the transfer could be done for as little as €20 million.
Mikel Arteta says otherwise
Mikel Arteta has recently said in a press conference that Aubameyang is their player and he is going to stay here at Arsenal. The manager did sound confident in his tone of speaking about Aubameyang.
And it also does not make much sense for Arsenal to move their primary striker away at this stage of time. There are hardly any good replacements in the market and the limited amount of time is also a stumbling block.
