Mumbai Indians young star Ishan Kishan has been one of the brightest performers in the 2020 edition of the IPL. The flamboyant southpaw impressed everyone with his attacking style of batting in the United Arab Emirates.
Ishan Kishan’s attacking instincts was what the Mumbai Indians’ team management needed and the youngster played some wonderful knocks so far. Roped in by MI for INR 5.5 crore in IPL 2018 season, Kishan unleashed his true colours in the 13th edition of the IPL.
The 22-year-old youngster was the leading run getter for Mumbai Indians in the 2020 season. The southpaw aggregated 516 runs at a scintillating average of 57.33 and a strike rate of 145.76.
He smashed as many as 4 half-centuries to his name. In the wake of his impressive performance, he earned a maiden call-up to the Indian team. Kishan made his International T20 debut where he scored a fantastic fifty.
The young player drew plaudits for his performances so far. It was good to see Kishan converting all his chances into good performances. It is also the right time for him to expand his dominance with the willow in the truncated version of the game.
However, the youngster didn’t switch gears to the next level in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. The southpaw managed to score just 29 runs in 2 games.

Meanwhile, rumoured girlfriend Aditi Hundia came across his post and decided to drop a comment. Aditi Hundia replied to Ishan Kishan’s post by saying: “Yaaa?😂” Her reply went viral on the internet.
MI take on SRH
Mumbai Indians started their campaign with a defeat over Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB beat MI by 2 wickets to seal the tournament opener. However, MI made a great comeback in their second game against KKR.
Despite setting up a low target, MI still went on to win the game against Kolkata Knight Riders. MI bowlers kept KKR batsmen silent in the death overs and won the game by 10 runs.
MI will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the next game. The match will kick off at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 17, Saturday.
