Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra is well-known for his analysis of the gentleman’s game. Every now and then, he comes up with an interesting discussion on players’ form and technique.

The manner in which he explains everything in detail is what makes him one of the best cricket experts in the world. Meanwhile, he is busy following the ongoing Test series between England and India.

Aakash Chopra was really impressed with the way Joe Root went about his business in the series. England’s Test captain literally looked unstoppable in the first three Tests as he scored runs at will.

The fabulous batsman scored three centuries in three Tests. Joe Root almost went towards scoring a double century but Indian seamers took all the 10 wickets. As a result, Root remained unbeaten on 180* in the second Test match.

Despite Root’s solo innings, England couldn’t manage to take down India. The visitors were strong as a team to overhaul the hosts at The Mecca of Cricket. India won by 151 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Coming to the third Test match at Headingley in Leeds, Root continued his rich vein of form in the first innings of the ongoing Test. The skipper led by example and went on to score 121 with the help of 14 fours.

Impressed by Joe Root’s sensational form, Aakash Chopra took to his Twitter handle and praised the England Test captain. Chopra reserved the highest respect for Root. His tweet went viral in no time.

“Three matches. Three tons. One of them 180*. The fact that he’s able to take only the confidence from the previous game and not his score (in the head) makes this feat exceptional,” Aakash Chopra wrote.

The expert went on to add saying that Joe Root didn’t play any false shot right from the first Test of this series. “No false shots at the start of any of the innings… Root Atoot. 🙌🙏 #ENGvIND,” Chopra wrote.

Meanwhile, one of the fans tried to troll Aakash Chopra by comparing his international career with Joe Root’s current series statistics. “Ur career stats r less than his series stats !! Lol,” the tweet read.

The tweet soon caught the attention of Aakash Chopra and the cricket expert decided to teach him a good lesson on social media that he will never forget in his life.

“I have…had a career. You are just being a carrier of hate and trolling. Sending a lot of love 😊🥳❤️ Get well soon, my friend. Hope one day you’ll have your own face in the DP too. 🤗,” Aakash Chopra replied.
